Jumping Jacks Day Nursery is the only purpose built children’s day care setting in the area. This was established in June 1991 and still under the same ownership..
We are registered for 50 children and provide an exceptional standard of early years care & education delivered by the highest calibre staff.
We are currently part of the Tiny Tums project and have received certificates for continued best practice in food and nutrition. We also have our own vegetable patch, where all children can take part in planting and growing their own fruit and vegetables. These can then be picked and cooked for the children to eat.
Jumping Jacks is approved by the new regulations set out by the national minimum standards for full day care issued by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales, (C.S.S.I.W.) Welsh Assembly group April 2002 who are contactable 0300 062 5609.
We have received good ESTYN and CSSIW reports and had top marks in food hygiene ratings (5 out of 5)
Our inspection reports
are available for parents to view.
We are now registered with ESTYN which means, 3 year olds are now eligible for some funding, providing they do a minimum of 3 full day sessions.
